Do you mind if I share a story with you?
Dan sent me this story to share with you, it’s a little long,
but if you REALLY read it (not just read it, but really read
it and get it), I think you could get a lot out of it. Do you
mind? I guess if the answer is yes you do mind, there is always
the delete button, so I will continue.
I will cut and paste it here…
————–
A few years back I was sitting around watching the football
(Aussie Rules), and my team was down… just. It was half way
through the 4th quarter, and my team… The Sydney Swans (I
know, not a very manly name for a football team)… anyway,
they are pretty well known for coming back from behind.
So it’s anyone’s game, and all of a sudden, then phone
rings. A little annoyed, I get up to answer it. If I was a
little annoyed when I got up, you can imagine how I felt when
I found that the person on the other end of the call was a
telemarketer. To top things off, someone scored and I couldn’t
tell who.
Anyway, mostly it’s a good thing, but can often to be to my
detriment, I have this thing where I just can’t be rude to
anyone… and possibly stupidly, I feel that interrupting
someone (even in the middle of a marathon sales pitch) is rude.
Long story short, I listen to the whole pitch. This guy was
trying to sell me tickets to a seminar that was going to teach
me how to day trade the forex market.
Now this guy might have lousy timing (and not a very good
pitch or phone manner either), but he has got the right person
to sell to. I love learning, and I can think of nothing better
to spend myMoney on than my own education.
Now as it turns out, I’ve been to loads of courses and seminars,
so I am only going to go to something that really stands out…
so his going along in his pitch, and then he says something that
grabs me… he says “The seminar is $1997, and if you can’t make
$3000 in your first 90 days, we will refund yourMoney”
Wow I thought! What an amazing offer… It’s rare that you see
a company back themselves to this extent. This stuff must be
good, otherwise they would be making noMoney. They put all the
time and effort into putting the materials together and
marketing this… they just wouldn’t make this offer unless
their stuff worked!
So I’m sure you are wondering what happened… well, my the
Swan’s lost! Other than that, 8 months later I bought a new
BMW with my profits from forex trading, and invested a lot more
moneyWith this company… so it wasn’t a disaster of a day
after all.
You know the coolest / craziest thing about all this… I took
very little risk. After the course, I started small to test
out all the stuff I had learned, and built it up from there.
“What if they didn’t refund theMoney?” you might ask. Well,
I paid with credit card, so if they dishonor the contract,
I can call the credit card company and do something called a
charge back. This basically means I tell the company that there
was a fraud, and they literally refund myMoney first, then
give the other party a chance to appeal and present evidence.
That is the cool bit. The crazy bit is that I know that so
many people would have been given the same opportunity… an
opportunity to change their lives, with very little risk, and
they would not have taken it.
People are so attached to their current reality that they just
can not see past it now matter what they are presented with.

Ok, it’s me again. I love that story, and I am sure it would
speak to a lot of people. Here is your opportunity…
Best of luck in whatever you decide.
Best Regards,
Phillip.
