Last night I received a call from my oldest daughter Amanda, telling me that she had gotten into an accident. That she was in the hospital and that my second oldest daughter was in the passenger seat when this happened.

She was obviously very shakened up by the experience, and her being so upset on the phone was very upsetting for me as well. I’m sure you all know where I am coming from, especially if you are a parent. The last thing you want is something to happened to your kids.

Well, before I received the phone call I was on twitter, chatting with everyone. I typed a note that I what had happened and that I was on my way to the hospital. When I finally got home I was overwhelmed by the responses I had received on twitter. People send their prayers and well wishings, it was very touching. I received well over 50 replies and direct messages.

So I wanted just to say thanks to everyone, let everyone know that my daughters are alright. No broken bones, internal bleeding, or anything like that. They both have some cuts and alot of bruises, as well as being very sore. But overall the are both alright and very lucky.

Here are some pictures of the aftermath of my daughter car. She was hit by a guy in a Ford F350 doing about 50 mph.
