Hey Phil, thanks for the great video! I'll be signing up for peoplebrowsr now. :-)
The one I use now is Tweetlater, which I am pretty happy with so far. I'll compare that with peoplebrowsr.

Great video. I'd wondered about Peoplebrowser. I use Chrome, though, which isn't mentioned as being compatible.

However, I was surprised that some of the "differences" explained here are features offered on TweetDeck. You can easily customize API in TweetDeck to alter refresh rate on the stream, DM's, and @replies. Set properly, you can follow thousands and never "time out." And there are search and filter features on TweetDeck that allow for the same topic search described here.

One difference that could have been mentioned is Peoplebrowser is a browser-dependent app, and TweetDeck a desk app. I personally prefer the latter, and TweetDeck runs completely in the background while I'm doing other things. And yes, I'm totally hooked on the handy multi-format URL shortening tool.

Still, if I get an itch to explore browser apps, I may just have to see if Peoplebrowser will work on Chrome. I do like some of the customization tools you demonstrated. Thanks for the info!

Phil, thanks for keeping me updated. This was great! I use to have Modzilla, but I have a new computer now. Should I go ahead and install it again? Or do you have another software you would recommend?

there is a shorten URL feature now :) It's at the very top where your RT goes in :) I love this...it makes me feel like an air traffic controller...all the info available on a single screen :)
